What Somatic Yoga Is
What makes this work different
Somatic Yoga is an intuitive, body-led movement practice that brings you back into relationship with your own inner knowing.
Instead of performing poses, we use traditional shapes as entry points—not destinations—so you can explore what feels true, supportive, and alive in your body.
“Somatic” comes from the Greek sōma, meaning the living body:
not something to manage or perfect,
but a sensing, feeling, intelligent being.
Through slow, curious movement and nervous system-aware sequencing, somatic work helps you:
• reconnect with sensation
• express what the body has been holding
• unwind emotional and physical patterns that no longer serve you
• rebuild inner safety
It is less about stretching and more about remembering.
Less about form and more about felt experience.
A practice of returning home to yourself — one breath, one sensation at a time.
