PRIVATE SOMATIC COACHING
The Study
boundaries in the body
The deepest room in the house. Four private sessions of somatic coaching, held one to one, for the woman who has already understood everything and still cannot put it down.
not louder.
steadier.
WHERE THIS CAME FROM
There was a season in my life where everything looked fine from the outside.
Responsible, capable, reliable, the one who could be counted on to hold it, whatever it was and underneath all of that competence, a body that had not exhaled properly in years.
I was living in subtle survival. Constantly aware of what everyone else needed. Always adjusting myself to keep a room comfortable. It didn’t look like a crisis, which is exactly why it went on so long.
What I did not understand then is that I did not need more advice. I had plenty of advice. I had read the books, I knew the language, I could explain my patterns beautifully to anyone who asked.
What I needed was a space where my body could slow down. Where nobody was trying to fix me and someone could sit with me, without agenda, while my nervous system found its way back to something steadier.
That is what this work became.
WHAT THIS IS
This is not casual coaching
Boundaries in the body is a private somatic coaching container. It is four sessions, sixty minutes each, just you and me.
We work directly with the patterns your nervous system has been carrying not by talking about them, but by meeting them in the body, where they actually live. There is no worksheet or protocol you have to keep up with between calls. There is a quiet, regulated space, and a pace set by your system rather than by me.
Most of my clients arrive already fluent in their own psychology. They can name the pattern. They have been naming it for years. The body has not caught up yet, and that gap is the whole work.
WHAT WE WORK WITH
The patterns that hold you
people-pleasing that has become automatic
hyper-responsibility for other people's comfort
difficulty resting without earning it first
fear of disappointing someone you love
the cycle of bracing, then shutting down
saying yes while your whole body says otherwise
And we shift them in the body, because insight alone does not create change. You already know that. you have understood your patterns for years and they are still here. The body needs felt evidence, not argument.
THE CONTAINER
Four sessions, in sequence
Depth does not require endless processing. It requires an arc something to move through and then live inside. Each session builds on the one before it, which is why the order matters and why four is enough.
SESSION ONEnaming the brace
We find where the pattern lives. not the story of it the location. What your shoulders do when you anticipate someone's disappointment, what happens in your jaw before you agree to something. We map it together, slowly, until you can feel it happening in real time rather than noticing it afterwards.
SESSION TWOthe felt no
We practise refusal at the level of sensation. what a real no feels like in your body before it becomes a sentence. Most of us have only ever practised the words, which is why they come out either apologetic or sharp. Here we start underneath the words.
SESSION THREEstaying
The hardest part is not the boundary. It is the twenty minutes afterwards, when the guilt arrives and your system wants to take it back. we build the capacity to stay to feel the discomfort of having held your ground and not collapse into repair.
SESSION FOURsteadiness
Integration, we take the work out of the session and into the specific rooms of your actual life that colleague, that message, that Sunday lunch. You leave with something you can return to on your own, in your own body, without me.
BETWEEN SESSIONS
Email support whenever something arises as well as homeplay which you get to decide what it will be. This is not homework and it is not accountability. It is a place to put the thing that came up on a Wednesday afternoon so that it stays alive until we meet, instead of being reasoned away by the time you get to the call.
THE FIT
who this room is for
this is for you if
you are the strong one, the responsible one, the emotionally aware one and you are quietly stretched thin
you understand your patterns intellectually and cannot seem to change them
you want to work privately rather than in a group
you are willing to move at the speed of your nervous system rather than the speed of your ambition
you want something real rather than something that sounds good
this is not for you if
you want a plan to execute and a result by a deadline
you are looking for someone to tell you what to do
you are in acute crisis and need clinical care — this work sits alongside therapy, it does not replace it
you want to think your way through it and leave the body out
WHAT CHANGES
This is not casual coaching
Depth does not require endless processing. It requires an arc something to move through and then live inside. Each session builds on the one before it, which is why the order matters and why four is enough.
FROM EARNING RESTTo resting without needing to justify it
FROM REACTINGTo a pause long enough to choose
FROM SECOND-GUESSINGTo your body as the authority in the room
FROM SPIRALLINGTo holding a boundary and staying regulated afterwards
None of this arrives as a transformation. It arrives as a series of ordinary moments where you notice you did not brace, and you do not make anything of it. Steadiness becomes your baseline rather than your achievement.
HOW TO BEGIN
Enter the Study
The study opens by application. Not to make it precious but rather to make sure the room is right before either of us commits to it. A few questions, then a conversation.
if this feels like the right level of depth, you do not need to overthink it. your body already knows.
