A Soft Place to Begin
A gentle introduction to somatic yoga, nervous system safety, and returning to your body.
This is a soft place to begin if you have been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, tense, tired, emotionally full, or unsure how to slow down.
You do not need to know exactly what you need before you start. You do not need to arrive calm. You do not need to perform peace.
You can simply come as you are.
A 2-minute practice for coming into the room
This short exteroceptive practice helps you orient to the space around you.
Exteroception is your body’s way of noticing the outside world what you can see, hear, feel, and sense around you. In somatic work, this can help the nervous system recognise the present moment.
You do not need a mat. You do not need to do anything perfectly. You only need a moment.
